Almost there
Add in a frazzled picture of me, and this is what the last stage of a dissertation looks like.
The good news is that the end is in sight. The first draft is completed, the Kickstart stash is sufficient, and everything is go for a May graduation. The rest of the month will be about completing a 100% edit, and December and January are for getting approvals for all the sections so I can make the submission deadline of 1 February.
The bad news is that I’m able to stick my head out of the office for a few minutes a day to say Hi to Kim, and that will probably be the case all month. So, no video this week. If something jumps in my devotions, I may knock one out, but shooting and editing takes time I want to use to focus on this–and the other application I need to have done by 1 December (another school thing).
Prayer front: I spoke last week at a church I hope will help sponsor our work with Centurion Project, and I’m speaking at another one this week. We’re just short of enough to cover our monthly housing allowance, so that’s the goal for now. Please pray that comes through, maybe from these two churches.
Hope you’re doing well. Send me your prayer requests. I still prioritize my morning time with God and Kim and my evening time with God. (We are doing a better job praying as a couple than we have ever done in the past.)
Thanks for everything!
Steve and Kim
